BodyFit is a physical-therapist-owned center for physical therapy and wellness founded by Katherine Pope, PT, DPT, Katherine Hudson Tan, PT, MS, OCS, CCTT, and Monica Vitenson, PT, MSPT, OCS, CCTT.
Katherine Pope, PT, DPT
Dr. Katherine Pope has a lifelong interest in movement studies that stems from many years of ballet and contemporary dance training, followed by a current active involvement in endurance sports, Pilates, and yoga. She specializes in orthopedics and manual therapy and is also certified as a Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist through Polestar. Her experience and professional continuing education coursework in manual therapy, women’s health, and movement analysis allows Dr. Pope to provide the highest quality, evidence-based treatment for her patients.

Katherine Hudson Tan, PT, MS, OCS, CCTT
Katherine Tan sustained an injury as a young competitive swimmer. This early experience with rehabilitation convinced her of the importance of an integrative approach to patient care. For nearly ten years, she has been practicing physical therapy in the areas of orthopedics and manual therapy and is certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). In 2008, Ms. Tan joined the small, elite group of physical therapists who have been recognized by the American Academy of Orofacial Pain for their dedication to the treatment of neck, jaw, and head pain by becoming a Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist (CCTT).

Monica Vitenson, PT, MSPT, OCS, CCTT
Monica Vitenson has an outstanding reputation as a manual therapist and movement re-educator. She specializes in TMJ dysfunction, in which she is one of only a few New York therapists to hold an advanced certification and is certified through Polestar as a Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist. Ms. Vitenson began her professional career as a massage therapist, graduating in 1991 from the Swedish Institute in New York City. In 1998, she earned her Master of Science in physical therapy from Columbia University.
