Bones for Life® (BFL) is an exercise program created by Ruthy Alon, senior trainer in the Feldenkrais® Method, as a method for improving bone health, posture, balance, walking and preventing osteopenia and osteoporosis.
In this workshop, you will learn through movement lessons to use weight-bearing postures to teach safe transmission of force through your skeleton without causing shearing stress to vulnerable joints. The more your posture improves, the stronger your bones become. BFL uses weight-bearing in the context of proper body alignment to teach ergonomically sound ways of sitting, standing, walking.
This workshop will help you access a more efficient and effortless way of moving, restore improved posture through awareness and enhance your balance to improve overall ease of walking.
